TERRORIST ORGANIZATION KIDNAPS CHP DEPUTY HÜSEYIN AYGÜN

Hüseyin Aygün was on his way to Tunceli's Ovacık district for a series of contacts when a group of terrorists stopped his vehicle on Sunday evening. Aygün's aide and journalist Kadir Merkit were traveling with Aygün. The terrorists took Aygün into a wooded area, disappearing from sight. Journalist Kadir Merkit working for Zaman and Aygün's aide reported the incident after going to the city center.

Security forces have launched an operation to find Aygün.
